IF ... Lesson

Finally, I'm learning the Bunny Hop! The one hop forward step is going well enough. It’s actually quite exhilarating being airborne – once one gets beyond the sheer terror of it all. Keeping a solid grasp of Rabbit’s hips is proving to be a challenge – it’s rather like hanging onto the tail of a tiger. It’s the next step, one hop backward, that has me very worried …

  1. Oh! I love this piece... the colour combinations with the indigo blue back wash, and the scarlet jacket work so well, and the characters are already favourites :o)

  10. I'm so happy to see bones and sinew starting to appear on the characters... brings a nice interplay between soft & sweet, and the undeniable reality that needs to creep in to hold viewer interest.
Much more dynamic movement that the bike gymnastics too, nice diagonals and calm directional force.
... I can tell the rabbit is holding back out of consideration...
    ~such a gentleman!

  13. The warm colors against the cool background is very dynamic and supports the excitement. I also like the fact that you are showing some tendon and bone under those soft furry coats.

The rendering of the mouse is especially nice. the rabbit looks like he is really focused on good hopping form as well as a gentle ride.
