you know... rabbit's gonna get tired of doing that in the hot sun all day! ~~hopefully they'll try the water soon... and looks like he found the mouse after all (no worse for wear and tear it would appear)
There's a nice slight tension between the characters and the more impressionistic beachscape... always nice to have that play between attitudes. -nice cast shadow too. On the rabbit, looks like you've landed on a nice blend of the specific and the cuddly ~he holds together well. no bikini for the mouse?
Your color palette is very flashy. I love the high contrast and the red accents. how you managed those trunks to take over the whole pic is quite and achievement. I love the depth suggest with the specks of sand in the foreground, the peaking umbrellas in the mid ground and the pier beautifully rendered in the background. The characters are very dynamic...I wonder if they would be even more so if drawn at a more pronounced angle.
the characters a marvelously detailed and understated at the same time. nice work!
This is perfect in so many ways (not the least of which is because I've been humming that song this week with safari on the brain). I love the animal print swimsuits, the movement across the page...wonderful!
