  1. Haha potato mouse! Oh my gosh, I've never seen the bunny so angry! If I was there, I would gently suggest he remove himself from the madness for a bit. It's so cool that I can identify the parts from the picture on the box.

  6. Bunnies just aren't very good at following directions. I love the way his ears show his frustration :)

  7. Such a creative take on this week's prompt with your adorable characters! I can't help but wonder if he's frustrated because the instructions are unclear, or maybe because the mouse is complaining that it doesn't look like the picture before he's even had a chance to figure things out...

    1. Thank you, Mit! I tried to show Buttercup as appearing puzzled too. After all, why in the world would Peet be interested in this ridiculous puzzle, when he's got the complete adoration of the most perfect and cutest mouse in the universe.

  8. Buttercup is really the star of the show here... Even if Peet has the bigger role in the scene, it's Buttercup's quiet looming in the lower foreground that holds the narrative together and keeps it from being a one-off riff.
She echoes the quietness of the empty space, with a feeling of concern and dismay at the representation of a mouse ala' Potato Head... ~gives a nice emotional counter point to Peet's disgruntles

She's hereby nominated for best supporting actress.
