It's a two-fer! I had fun creating the vector-drawn heart and playing with color variations, although it took a lot more hours than one would suspect. During computer breaks, I drew Peet & Buttercup dancing. Later, I decided to blend them together to make a story. Why not?

A new look for Peet and Buttercup! My favorite sketch is number 2...good flow and gesture with a minimalist information. The 'pile' of number 4 is fun too.

Yes, I'm trying a new approach this year. Time seems to be at a premium, but I don't want to give up developing P&B. The IF prompts are good sketchbook workouts. Thank you for your insight – I promise to do complete illos as time allows.
