We'll bicycle through the country, explore cafés and nap in the sun ...
... only about 200 kilometers a day.
wa, wa, wah, wah, wah, wa, wa, wah, wah, wah, wa, wa,
wah, wah, wah, wa, wa, wah, wah, wah
Why the big fuss about weight reduction and endurance training?
You look fine in your bike shorts. We just need a new buggy.
And some brie.
Love it! So cute and you get such great personality and expressions out of your critters. Love the teeny car attached to the bike. (And I'd totally be on board for the brie.)
ReplyDeletewonderful work...just had a look below too of the ones missed while I was away....I just love all your "critters"
ReplyDeleteJust love it, excellent!!!
ReplyDeleteBig trip sounds amazing. Love the mouse.
ReplyDelete...beautiful illustration!
ReplyDeleteWonderful illustration - beautiful handling of watercolor.
ReplyDeleteVery cool! I love how you incorporate the map...so clever!...And your characters have so much character!! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done. I love your characters!
ReplyDeleteWonderful, I want to too.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous composition! Beautiful use of color, too...the balloons echoing the dots on the map...love it all!
ReplyDeleteThe best thing about this illustration is how the characters wind around the compositon: Buttercup winding around Peet's ears; and how the two wind about on the map....~~The little bike scene is my favorite part of the whole image (along with the in and outs of the map).
ReplyDeleteNice also is how the tutu shifts color as it turns towards the sun.
Can't wait to see what becomes of the two.
.
Thanks all! PREPARE was a hard word. On the plus side, it's given me a story that I'll try to see through with the IF prompts. While making this piece, a value study helped enormously to prepare.
ReplyDeleteI love the color and the way in which you suggest the environment and move so effortlessly form the background to the foreground.
