I really like this look. (The best of your varied styles). It keeps it's energy, and the viewer motivated to stay for the ride. Has lots of depth in what is ultimately a shallow space. Very Cool!
I love the blue colors! Is this style of collage influenced by the Japanese art of Chigiri-e? The wispy blue paper is like what I used when I was doing chigiri-e long ago.
This style of collage could be called Chigiri-e, although it was not created with this tradition in mind. I learned this technique at a workshop a few years ago without reference to it's history. Some of the papers used (a few were Japanese) began as white and were stained with watercolor. Most of the light brown background was made using recycled tea bags, stained naturally from the tea leaves. Thank you for asking!
Really nice work. Great illustration and the collage pieces add a wonderful texture.
