  1. I bet Peet would surely appreciate having his tail on right about now... ~but, as long as Buttercup is having fun...

Very simple composition with selected jewels to explore. As it should be. ~~I like the blue atmospheric glaze pushing Peet and the background away from the viewer. Nice directional indicators with the few leaves trailing behind him.
Poor Peet, he's been on the move constantly the past few weeks, I can only surmise that Peet gathers no moss.

  2. Yes, Peet's been having a rough time of late. Hopefully he'll bounce back from all the slinging and crashing and falling in no time. I doubt he's too pleased with Buttercup – especially now that she's messing with his stuff .. er, fluff.

  3. Love the mischievous expression on Buttercup's face.
Her shadow and the way you handled the grass around her is exquisite!

  4. Yikes! It looks like that landing might smart a little! Poor guy. And yet the picture of him falling way back there is so funny! As for missy thing in the foreground, I have a feeling she might have a little payback coming her way. Oh my gosh, those ears! Too cute.

  5. Ouch! What cute characters you've developed. Your mouse looks so fuzzy I want to reach out and touch her.

  6. Lots of fun, I just knew that Peet and Buttercup would lend themselves to bounce. It looks like you had fun with the details by painting the tree and flowers.

  11. This is a lovely sequence of events. You are a great story teller.

The small details in rhythm is what captivates me in this piece. the little flowers in the back right seem to be commenting on Peets fall and the leaves of the tree echo it. I also love the sweep of the hill.

  12. I agree...you are an amazing storyteller. I think that children (and adults) would love a book about Peet and Buttercup!

  13. Thank you, Alice and Sarah! I'm going to have to get serious about writing a story instead of being buffeted by the winds of IF prompts. Oh, but that will require planning ... hmmm ... maybe next year.
